Hello everyone!
Last Saturday I found myself in possession of various kilograms of "Greengage" plums. As it turns out, a branch of one of the trees in our orchard fell down and we found ourselves with two big crates of plums that weren't ripe enough to eat.
They ended up divided among all my family and my mum, my grandma and I made jam with them, everyone by herself. Today's recipe is similar to how they use to do it, with a twist.
I investigated a little bit in Pinterest and, although they did not usually use this particular type of plum, there were a lot of recipes with golden and purple plums. Some of those were spiced with some kind of herb. So taking tips from different sites and with my mum's base recipe, here it comes:

Red Velvet Cake (A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!)
Hello everyone!
Today's cake was meant for a special occasion. It was done in record time, poorly photographed (sorry about that, it was an emergency), and carried inside a trunk for nearly two hours. All this happened over the course of an afternoon and without the birthday girl noticing it in any moment.
The recipe for the frosting is different from the usual 4 cups of sugar type of frosting.
It's a layer cake, alternating layers of cake and frosting.

Raspberry and White Chocolate Muffins
Hello everyone!
Today's recipe, is, again, made with fresh summer fruit. And again from my cousin's orchard raspberries...
Whenever I buy berries, I end up eating them nearly on the spot. I have hundreds of possible recipes on my notebooks but the fruit is so deliciously tempting that I can't help it. I eat them all.
Except this time I had a really big bowl full of them and plenty of time to think about a yummy recipe.
As I said when I made those Triple Chocolate Muffins, baking muffins had always been an unresolved issue for me. They never came out good, always too dense or too hard...
